It might sound like a silly question, but if their Yemeni admixture is that high, why do they not look that different to pure Cushites like us?

Lol, Nomad type Somalis don't really look that more 'Negroid' than Habeshas. There are anthropological measurements done by Carltoon Coon who use to measure skulls, noses and stuff like that. He never concluded Somalis were more Negroid. He even thought Somalis were the most 'Caucasoid' metrically of the main HOA groups.
The only thing that makes Somalis look more SSA than Habeshas is skin color primarily.
Somalis do not look more negroid whatsoever ever. Somalis have slimmer features and body. However, Habesha's on average tend to be a bit lighter. However, we do look similar. A lot of outsiders confuse us.
Also, you sound like that Waaqo guy.
Even then we aren't much darker. Habeshas are not as light as people on sspot like to claim. And there are many ethnic Somalis who are indeed light skinned.

There is a difference though, especially when we are talking about group averages.
By the way, I think Somalis are adapted to the desert climate, and may have selected for ''Caucasian''-like facial features/bone structure independent of the MENA ancestry.
Anyone familiar with both groups can easily tell Habeshas look far more caucasoid than Somalis.I know Habeshas that can look Puerto Rican/Dominican and even met an Eritrean orthodox women who looked complete Arab.You can never find those types in Somaliland/Djibouti

I have seen a lot of Tigrinya fobs lately, since 2015 they have flooded Europe. I am familiar with how they look.
The only two things that make them look more Arab than Somalis is the skin color and the tendency for more hooked type noses (but only a few of them have the latter). Nothing more.

They all have more Neolithic Iranian than those Early Pastarolist outlier samples and those samples aren't the ancestors of modern horners as I think our ancestors were more similar to the Ken_N samples who lacked Iranian ancestry.

I'm lightskin myself that doesn't change the fact that Somalis are one of the darkest Cushitic descendant groups in the Horn
I'm fully aware that Habesha's are lighter and that Somalis are dark on average. What made me suspicious is when he said that you would NEVER see Somalis who are light skin in Somaliland or Djibouti.
Anyone with Somali family and friends would know some light skin Somalis.
That is the only reason why i brought up individual cases.
