My father told me about Gadabuursi sub-sub clans getting assimilated into HA due to disputes between families, HA is known to assimilate so I wouldn't be surprised at the notion, it's either that or they absorbed some HY/HJ subs.

I think he is Bah Gob as well. My clan (Baha Cumar JB) & Bah Gob HB live together in Arabsiyo. Many of my own ancestors were Bah Gob. Seems like they are a confederation clan, as they have both T & E-V32. Not too familiar with th inner subclans of Bah Gob, perhaps some of their subclans are specifically HA E-V32 while the others belong to the Ciise.

Well unless he took a deep y-test he is just saying nonsense and that would make Bah Gob have two different y-dna lineages in the same subclan

I’m the Yfull sample. The thread is very old now and only Isaaqs were BigY tested back then. I think the one have the lowest distance with is madhibaan on FTDNA but we don’t form any clade, he tested a lot later than the others. On Yfull it’s the Ciise, we form a clade but the TMRCA is the same I share with others Northern Dir/Isaaq.

I’m anlso interested in the Barsuug as the Arap claim them as lost Arap. It would to see some E-V22 from them. Also none of the E-V22 & E-M78 Arap have taken a Big_Y. Which is unfortunate
