The PA led by Abbas is itself not popular among Palestinians for its weak responses towards Israel continuing occupation and uprooting people's from their land to build and expand settlements in the west bank and most importantly it's corrupt organization and with in mind it will be really hard and difficult for Israel or the west to try to get rid of Hamas or its armed wing as the movement is deeply rooted in the Palestinian society where it has supporters similar to many other factions and the longer this war takes Israel and their allies in the west can't ignore them if they really want there to be a long lasting peace in the region.Israel has declared that it's intent is to destroy the military and governmental capabilities of Hamas. And that they will clear every part of Gaza, town after town, with the focal point being Gaza city.
Now that PA president Mahmoud Abbas has condemned Hamas after his talks with Biden, does that mean that Israel intends for PA to takeover Gaza after the end of their operations?
