Today is Djibouti's Independence Day. I wish all the people of Djibouti a happy Independence Day. Eritrea and Djibouti are neighbours, we are bound by history and faith, we have common interests in the Red Sea, we have tribes living on both sides of the border

and we are the only allies of Somalia in Africa. May God/Allah bless Djibouti and its people.

Eritreans as people, we never had beef with Djibouti.

but both governments had until 2018.

there was small border dispute, and during the 1998-2001 Ethiopia invasion of Eritrea, Ethiopia imported all its arms via port Djibouti.

ethiopia instigated conflicts between Eritrea and Djibouti. IGM was good with Meles.

but in 2018 Farmajo organized a meeting between Afwerki and IMG, PIA visited Djibouti. Both leaders resolved their differences even hugged each other, and stopped backing each other’s Proxies.

We Eritreans never had beef with Djibouti.

Yes Djibouti's biggest enemy was always the Ethiopian state who backed the FRUD. Eritreans really didn't do anything to us

Yes the only thing that kept ethiopians at bay and forced them to play nice with us was all the bases we had In our country. The Ethiopians can make up bullshit about how Djibouti is rightfully there's but end of the day Ciise have tbe country and they have to either pay us minimum $1 billion a year for the port or they starve their issue not ours.

There is no reason for Djibouti and Eritrea to have any tensions logically

Why Is waqooyi so special? Here in Djibouti there is no such thing as a "northerner" identity. We are Somali and Ciise.

Dir dhaba isn't even close to being galla the Ethiopian gov just writes Gurgura down as oromo in the census.
