I honestly don’t think SL should ever join the south. The most tolerant of Southerners seem to have the notion that SL should join when it gets “better”, as if that in itself makes a “reunion” a good idea. It should’ve kept itself separate like Djibouti to begin with.

I do agree with you because the South will never get their affairs in order and Puntland doesn't know if it is a separate state or part of Somalia because all indicators are if Somalia isn't ruled by a Puntlander, they have no interest in Somalia's politics. Some here are promoting PIM (Puntland Independence Movement) to that effect, Somaliland should try to be more inclusive towards other clans who lost hope in Puntland. One clan of three families rules Puntland. Somaliland has shown other clans do have a chance to rule it. Bravo.
