Hargeisa's Barwaaqo & Abaarso universities: is this rumour true?

When I was in hargeisa I kept hearing about it, I remember my aunt saying “gabdhahaa lugu gaalowsiiyaa”. As in they take away the deen from girls who go there, push unislamic ideas on them and whatnot.

What are your thoughts on it? I think it may be true after finding out the current head was a former pastor and there’s a missionary who’s on staff wtf

Barwaqo is women's only university is job is to educate lots of women who would be able to do lots of good thing for the society especially in teaching position where men deaminate that sector

At first I didn’t believe it but the more I look into it , I get suspicious. The school at Abaarso is called Abaarso school of science and technology which is great because that is exactly what we need .
Yet dig further more into the degrees 90% or more of its students attained in foreign schools is liberal arts (political science, international relations, psychology, economics). That is good and all but it is not like 99% of students in other schools don’t already do that. I thought this school would offer STEM STUFF . All these liberal arts degrees produce are GAALO RAAC IYO FEMINISM IYO LGBTQ+ tolerant folks.

Established in ‘09, we are yet to see any difference made by this school.
