It's hilarious to think that the peoples of the Mediterranean basically talked about them the exact same way. To the Greco-Romans and the Arabs northern Europeans were simple, brutish barbarians who "to their credit" made for good soldiers.
But at least the Romans actually slowly integrated barbarian peoples into the Roman culture and world after brutalizing and conquering them. Faransiis and British niggas will literally try to genocide you and frame it as a "civilizing" exercise.

Rome was low-key very strangely socially mobile despite in essence being a slave state. I should say "ethnically mobile", more like. I was often surprised when I first began to read about the empire when I was a teenager and I'd notice how many Emperors were not from Italy. Hispanians, Numidians, Dacians, Illyrians, Anatolians and even an Arab were all at various points the Emperor.
This would be like the British Empire at various points, if it existed long enough, having Gujarati, Bengali, Arab, Somali, Cherokee, or Australian Aboriginal Kings. Can you imagine it? Cos I can't. To their credit, the Greco-Romans were fixated on the idea of cultural superiority and believed you could basically "civilize" any barbarian people outside their culture so they were ultimately open ish to you once you were inside that culture.
i mean yes democracy is a western concept so you'll need western ideals when trying to implement i know this sounds controversial but its true the only thing is whites constantly undermine this ability to happen, westerners don't care if you practice their ideals they're goal is to subjugate the global south by any means possible.
The idea that it's a western concept is nonsense. You find council and republic-like rule in many cultures across the world. Our own ancestors maintained what was called "Guurti" in both the north and south. This was how the Banaadir ports were administered, for example. Yes, there were at times a main Sultan but that Sultan was placed there by and many of the decisions were made through a council plucked from among all the tribes settled in the towns. Usually elders but essentially elders who were respected among the men of the tribe and gathered the support to be the tribe's council representative.
Ancient Greek type democracy, which is what modern cadaan "democracy" was modelled after, existed in various forms all over the world. There's a reason Arabs have a bloody word for "Republic" (Jamhuriya) that we use in our own language.
