Hating extremism=murtad

Why has it become easy to label people murtads, (which is haram)? Is this some UK thing? I have never seen people so casually calling someone a murtad when you don't support extremism and yes there is extremism in some Muslims (I used the term Muslims, not Islam). I find it shocking how easy someone can call a woman who doesn't wear a hijab or is western educated a murtad.

I think this stems from people's own insecurity. A real practicing Muslim first wouldn't call someone a murtad and second, if they were one they would feel pity and sorrow for them as they need Islam and Allah more than he needs them (the follower).

Has anyone else noticed this bizarre trend?

Happens anytime someone used the term extremist or wahabi etc any term to describe a certain type of Muslims. Because Muslims are under attack it seems like people are very defensive to the point of complete inability to criticize. For example, the attacking of civilians at any point regardless of what situation is haram and we all know this, so why has it become normal? If anyone especially female is critical of Muslim countries they can be labelled a murtad. Why? Is wanting peace and prosperity for the Ummah a bad thing? It's like there is mass suspicion. I think the internet is causing this.

Example, I've seen Halima Aden accused and berated online, Ilhan Omar etc. Yet know one attacked Iman the model my mom's generation pitied her. They feel sorry for because she became gaal. Why the shift? Why the lack of tolerance? I think this behaviour is causing murtads sadly. We don't need to force people to be Muslim, they have to find it to be beneficial for themselves.

I think they deep down are the murtads its projection. The West was very arrogant about its wealth and technology (especially academics) but it took one covid wave for people to fear death and turn back to deen. Why? Because a lot humans need God, the staunch atheists are rare.

I have seen what drugs, lust for money, alcohol does especially in the poorer areas in the West. I also don't like promiscuity. Why because it damages the person. I've seen men online admit they would be hurt if their own daughter did what the women they are sleeping with for money do.

We need the deen, the deen doesn't need us but the insecure folks are pushing people away from the deen. And the attack they do on culture is extremely annoying too. That's why they said that to you. We Somalis can't be proud of our ancestors and nation, but we have fight and die for Palestine a nation state. Does that make sense? Just to be clear I am not anti-palestine and I think those people have suffered like many places due to this extremism.

They will come into this thread though watch.
