I would say most Somali females back home help people , but the men who go back just abuse people.

I saw a bbc documentary about dhaqan Celis, and the one Somali girl in it , was Teaching local kids English and mathematics, but her male cohorts were living the ‘life’

This entire thread is completely backwards . The only Somali guys who reform after a trip back home are minorities who face abuse and get humbled.

Women are disenfranchised in Somalia so it changes any diaspora girl naturally and they ‘wake up’ and find purpose.

Guys who return back get spoiled even more so , so it doesn’t work. Unless their Parents lock them to be abused by some imam.

If Somalia only had women in charge, we likely wouldn't have had a civil war.

But we would become like Sweden, Thailand and Philippines and the country would be good on the outside but rotten from within. At least now, our land is still ours despite the presence of foreign troops and interference.

With men in leadership, there is a gamble to rise or fall but with women it would remain stagnant and collapse in some other spectacular way

You're right we wouldn't have had a civil war because we would have been extinct!Every matriarical society was doomed to fail.Just look at how easy it was to convince them that they actually belong in the countries they currently live in.
