Historical disaster: Hassan Sheikh Mohamud gives Turkey 95% of oil royalties and 90% production

I don't know why people keep saying theirs no oil. There obviously is or else they wouldn't have been doing a survey for 9 months and that Turkish company wouldn't have purchased 20 oil rigs.

Also we've know theirs oil in somalia for decades now. I've always found it weird when people try to deny this as it strikes me as weirdly nihilistic

Well well it looks like I've been blackpilling too much.

What a shitshow :snoop:. They didn’t even read the details yet they voted for it. How can things ever get better if we keep putting unqualified politicians in charge?

the western governments are not going to bankroll somalia if they see how much turkey is going to profit from our oil, they are going to make sure we fund amison with our own wallet

Is the 90% recovery losses or profit

Daylight robbery, they can delay on their part while making bank
Saw an interview with a supposed former petroleum minister for Somalia, he tried to claim its only 90% of costs but the document that Turkey released clearly says it’s 90% of petroleum recovered that will go towards Turkey’s costs. It’s mental retardation and illiteracy of Somalis back home and old heads in the diaspora that they can’t read what the actual document says and can be gas-lit into believing it’s anything but neocolonialism.

What do you expect when former warlords and taxi drivers become politicians

Sick, they're not allowed to drill in PL waters right? Is that why Turkish spies on twitter have been attacking and misinforming the public about PL?

Yep

They have started a smear campaign against Puntland to divert attention away from the backlash to this disastrous deal so that Somalis turn on each other and also, to put pressure on Puntland to give up their resources.

People sometimes forget that Turks are imperialists who have devoured the lands of others. Especially the many gullible naive miskeens that we have back home. If Turks didn’t show mercy to the Kurds, why would they be honest with us? Brothers ku laha

The document doesn’t exclude PL or SL but the Somali constitution says federal states must be consulted and clearly that didn’t happen so I think there might be a way out of this. It is clearly unconstitutional.
