Somalia is starting to adopt western culture and technology and this is how the problem starts, not just in Somaliland.

However, the estimation that Bohol has shown is an over exaggeration and is absolutely false.

Social conservatism is probably a good idea with the threat of HIV looming. It's not like Somalia will ever adopt sex positive attitudes, (contraceptives, condoms, birth control pills etc), so what's the alternative? Go the bantu way and sleep with anything that moves, with no care in the world? Nah man.

Somalis don't do healthy balance. It's one or the other, and i think extreme social conservatism is a necessary evil for now. At least until the country stabilizes, and can protect itself from further infection.

This is old data but even back then I would not have expected the north to have more HIV than the south. Berbera in particular is startling.
