Learn SQL it’s much easier and can give you alot of data entry roles. and if you want to learn more code learn python

Pass. I already spent time learning languages I wasn't interested in for work opportunities. Hated that shit.

I'll probably give Python a chance again in the future or maybe C++ again still interested in game dev.

I think you should have gone down the traditional route, ie Schooling or apprencticeship. A lot of people do themselves a disservice by going at it from this route of "ethical hacker" or in your case "exploit dev".

Its a very niche area that does not result in a well rounded engineer or programmer.

You are right, in that it is one of those fields where you are expected to do your own life long studying and can very quickly find yourself being left behind.

But I would not worry about it, if the drive and passion is there for programming.

I would encourage you to give C++ a chance. Labour supply for high level/interpreter based languages are highly saturated and I suspect demand is taking a dip. FAANG continues with its rounds of dumping workers, Google Fires Entire Python Team.

Low level/System programming languages is the way to go, demand remains untouched. if you are already familiar with C++, it would make sense to opt for it again. I would recommend A tour of C++ (In-Depth Series), its by the creator of C++ and I can personally vouch for it.

I work in IT already.

All the c/c++ apes I know work in the defense industry :pachah1: . Saxiib are you planning on working with military tech in the future??

I find defense work a bit fascinating tbh. When my parents tried to force me to become an engineering major while I was in college the only thing I found interesting was military tech.

Since I didn't go to a prestigious university had I had no interest in any of the cooler engineering fields since I felt like I would have to compete against niggas that graduated from ivy league schools.

@Kisame
Imao... I was not expecting that. You live up to your name.
