I have noticed over the past decade illegal arms smuggling has been a thing in Somalia usually coming in from Yemeni houthis then reaching the several ports in Somalia. Also these houthis usually disguise themselves as fishermen Somali coastguards don't do anything out of goodwill " their fellow Muslims" but these fishermen steal alot of fish alongside Iran from our coastline so what can we do to stop this happening?
What can be done is first try to strengthen our coastguard instead of relying on pirates. Regarding the fishing issue we should start fishing ourselves and promoting fish in Somalia although it's not a ruminant it still has some perks like being good for the brain. If these two options don't work then the third option would be letting trump have a base on our coast so he can bomb the houthis this would be the ultimate deterrent and most likely get rid of the houthis in our coast.
