That's where Marehan are originally from. We came to Somalia to kick out the Oromo from Gedo. Gedo is actually an oromo word (Gadaa) and Garbahaarey is also an Oromo word, in fact there's a Garabahaarey in Oromia. Marehan drew the boundary between Somalis and Oromo.

How ? the Oromos are from west of the rift valley and didn't reach the area of Gedo till the mid-17th century where they got their asses kicked by the Ajuran empire. Also, you speak as if the Marehan are separate from other Somalis.
Never the less, Somalis should continue the expansion, there is still room to grow

when? the Ajuuraan have date and a time when the Oromo invasion happened, link me the evidence that states Marehan were serving the pain to Oromos early, and as far as I know, Oromos have no history east of the rift pre-1500s so it would have had to have happened between in the 200 years before the ajuuraan.
