if your skinny fat hit the gym and do some resistance training. you’ll lose fat and gain muscle.

Eat at a caloric deficit of 250 calories and hit 0.7-1 lb of protein per body weight and you’ll look better

Do you cook for yourself? The way Somali people generally make suqaar it's dripping with oil

Most of the time, my hooyo would bulk-prep me some. Oil isn't necessarily bad as long as it is naturally occurring from the hilib.

Right now I'm trying to be more disciplined to get thinner and lose a lot of weight. I was thin in the past so I know how good it feels to not be fat but I'm looking for extra motivation. What keeps you guys on the grind?

I'm not gonna lie this morning we had a bunch of donuts and pastries in the house. A farax had to use his willpower to not go on a munch (I didn't eat any) :drakelaugh:

I consider this my first step

I got weights as well so I can use those. Getting just thinner with no muscle looks awful on guys
I bring a 2.7L water bottle with me everywhere I go. I drink that whenever I'm feeling hungry near fast food areas. I also get on average 16k steps in a day & count my calories.

How much do/did you walk
I used to do 15k steps(10km or 6 miles) a day, I recommend listening to audiobooks and taking a walk, using only one earbud is recommended.

I bring a 2.7L water bottle with me everywhere I go. I drink that whenever I'm feeling hungry near fast food areas. I also get on average 16k steps in a day & count my calories.

I've been drinking min 3-4 litres a day, I highly recommend greek yoghurt for a snack if you're ever hungry, I get full better with fats/proteins than just carbs.

About a month now

Was over 118 kg, now 115.4 kg

To anyone else who wants a nicer body: starting is the most difficult part. Once you're underway, things are a lot easier
