Decades is an exaggeration something like this lasts a solid 2 years max the thing with the internet is that memes/trends are born everyday, if you want to know what the actual solution to this is is, its simple CENSORSHIP, people are NPC's this anti somali trend started on twitter from a single poster with 7 followers, but because there was no censorship it grew massively and became this giant problem, racism is basically trendy again its like the 2000s except its easy to broadcast things to the world with a march larger audience, even if tiktok goes, twitter and ig are hotbeds of racism, take zuckeberg back in 2016 it would have been fine if he was in charge but now hes sold out and joined the anti woke side.

I was on twitter since 2012 and the somali diaspora were more fun and intertwined well to defend ajanabis from mocking us even though the hate wasn't massive like now. I miss it so much. It's declined after covid due to the incels being very vocal with their racism and opening all cans of worm into our community. I just pray we get to see that harmonial interactions somalis had in the early 2010s and when we weren't hated as much.
