How many languages do you speak?

I understand Zulu, Swahili and lusofonia(Mozambican Portuguese)
I rarely speak Swahili or Portuguese since Its been really a long time but still can reply back

Parents just came here, I was born here. I'm glad I don't live in the polluted wasteland known as London but Dublin is not that great either.

I'm american so just english and half of somali. some are worse than me though and speak half of english and 1/4 of somali...america really is bad in this regard

knowing a few pharses isnt speaking the langauge, I could get by in south america, but I wont class myself as spanish speaker.

haven't you noticed a lot of the english speakers on this forum don't live in an english speaking country? other countries put more of an emphasis on learning other languages. its usually we who learn only a few words to get by
