Interestingly its believed ~30% of people on dating apps are married but trifling. While another ~12% are in relationships but keeping their options open.

I cannot deduce anything about the numbers of those with short term intentions, love addicts, scammers, harassers, those with dark triad traits, potential abusers or run of the mill validation seekers. However, I would love to study them just for LoLs.

I used to think like some here, once I get my life perfectly together then I will find a partner. But actually the right person came into my life and I was far from perfect, we both work on ourselves together. For me, marriage is about completing half of my deen as a Muslim, staying away from haram & having someone to complete the journey of life with. So far, it’s the best decision I ever made & I highly encourage people to do it. Looking back, I wish I got married much earlier in my 20s just because it’s actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be!
