I think the worst part about marrying your first cousin (other than having teenage mutant ninja offsprings) is what about the marriage goes sour? It can cause problems between 2 families. If I'd had a sour marriage with my first cousins my parent couldn't support me 100% since they don't wanna cause bad blood with their brother/sister

Personally I wouldn’t marry a cousin of mine as I am quite close with my relatives. Though I wouldn’t judge one for doing that since our prophetﷺ was married to his first cousin Zaynab. Moreover marrying your first cousin isn’t dangerous to your children unless your family has a history of cousin marriages.
