Because Abdulahi Yusuf gave seats to Marehan to appease them. We all know that people are always envious and lusting after Majeerteen inheritance and wealth and by people, I mean Daaroods. Not just our political seats but our traditional deegaan such as Kismaayo.

It wouldn't sting as much, if there was some political compatibility and gratitude, but there is none. We are the ones being played for a socalled 'greater good'. I'd rather a 'greater good' that makes sense not this nonsense.

Ajuraan are ethnic Somalis, but I do think there were former 'clients' of Ajuraan that claim them today.

I am not sure sis, but I think a few centuries, I also suspect they intermarried with native hunter-gatherers that had Cushitic admixture or something, because some of them look Somali-esque.

I think it's very few tbh and that's not with all clans. Some clans don't adopt people, whereas others do. The only Arabs in North-East are Arabised or a handful that are too few to mention. For example, there is a family in Eyl who descend from an Arab engineer that built Sayid Abdulle's tower in Eyl. Aside from examples like that, these people are not with us.

As for Eritreans, I know Sheekh Maxamed Idriis? His father was Eritrean but he's MJ maternally and socially. He's our family.
