How to clean Quran Getobo?

I found a Quran Getoba in qashin ka at work. I don't know who throw it away but I got it out the trash. The Getoba doesn't look damaged at all but it was in a trash. What is the best way to clean it?

In all seriousness I do it by placing in Flowing Water

Yeah I believe you can do that but placing the Quran in a clean water is easier I believe

If the inside is clean then you can cut out the cover and make new cover for it.
