How to cook baaris and hilib?

ngl youre cooked if you need to ask the internet how to cook this But its very easy
1. choose what meat you Need - We chose goat
2. Cook in water
3. prepare rice and wash it first
4. when meat is almsot cook prepare your rice base.
5. Oil onion and seasoning in 1 pot Let it Cook - i prefer onion powder but it burns quickly
6. Put your wash rice in there let it fry for like 2 minutes.
7. Take the meat you were cooking in the water and spill it in the rice mixture.
8. Put cover on it and wait.

I know theres other stuff you can do but thats the most simple way

Choose an easy recipe from YT that keeps it simple

Salt as you go so that it tastes good

Wash your rice until you can see the rice through the water (without the starch making it cloudy) then leave this in cold water

- Get a big pot
- Add your lamb to it and fill this with water until the meat is covered
- Get the water boiling. Then heat this on medium heat. If your meat is tough, do this for like 30 min
- Get another pot, heat it and add oil (up to you how much you want, but Somali people love their oil so add a generous amount if you want it Somali style)
- Add your lamb meat. Fry the meat until your lamb meat is well cooked. If you get a sear on it, it will be nice
- Add cubed onion and fry this with the meat
- Add cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves
- Add xawaash and chilli, garlic
- Fry some more
- Add sultanas
- Add your rice to this and stir
- Add boiling water (the water should cover the rice + a be a little higher)
- Cover the pot and heat on medium until you don't see any water
- Then put it on the lowest heat and keep heating until the rice is done (turn the flame off when the rice is a little harder than how you eat it. It will continue to cook even when the flame is turned off)

Make a salad if you want
