His words don’t match his actions. Egypt has done more for SNA in 3 months than Hassan sheikh has done in 2.5 years.

HSM doing to many things at once. one minute he wearing military dress in galmudug. next week he in Turkey. then next week changing constitution. then leave country again. then say we want foreigners to stay longer and same time say we want to respect somalias sovereignty

they say to do two things at once is to do neither. HSM doing a hundred things at once but never finishes anything. he killing himself multitasking and wasting energy fighting FMS's and stacking deck for relection/extension

Yes Somalia deserves a better leader, a lot better than we’ve currently and pervious had. In same that the diplomatic approach that HSM has taken in regard to the Ethiopian debacle, is great.

What some people don’t realise is that the Somali state is currently, extremely fragile. Escalating said diplomatic row, would not only make the Somali government look immature in front of the international community, but it would also escalate into a possible conflict with Ethiopia. A conflict that both countries are not interested in. The powers that be have reiterated their support for the territorial integrity of Somalia, Ethiopia outburst in regard to said declarations, has been just that “outbursts”. The fact that they have spewed propaganda regarding this MOU, occupied regions and “dug themselves in”, aswell as arm FMS ( In order to create chaos within the country, amongst other things). Shows that their primary goal is to 1) delegitimise the FGS, 2) create armed conflict with the country etc. All in hopes of regaining their “sovereignty” over the country.

They will continue to throw stones until their exist date in December 2024, and then I believe they will be forced out and replaced by the Egyptians. Until then I hope HSM keeps this diplomatic maturity he has going for him.

In the mean time the Ethiopian government doesn’t control half of their nation,

Their economy is crashing,

Their government is bankrupt,

And the civil unrest is getting a lot worse.

Their motives are quite clear.

Somalia is coming out of 34 years of instability, beggars can’t exactly be choosers my trollish friend.

Besides, would you prefer Somalia go down the Nigerian route in regard to the countries oil extraction ? Or maybe you would prefer the Congo deal.

I believe this deal is exactly what Somalia needs, knowing its current state. Not only does the cost of the oil extraction fall on the Turks, but so does the training and equipping of the national forces. It’ll do for now, this isn’t a movie. You have to be real with your expectations, don’t let your emotions cloud your logic.

We should have institutions/think thanks etc solely responsible for guiding long term foreign policy consistently.
