The Bunker will definitely be losing a lot of critical funds now. I don't know exactly how much the US gives on top of it's UN assessed contributions for miltiary assistance but it's has been in the range of 50 million a year I think.

It could be pretty bad for the bunker if the funds are paused at this time when the new AUSSOM is due to start operationally. Not only does 25% of the UNSOS budget (all logisitics for AUSSOM and up to 22K Somali forces) come from State Department accounts, but also training and equipment for Troop contributing countries also comes from State Department funds (not directly linked to Somalia). Somalia can almost certainly forget about US meeting any funding short falls in AUSSOM for the next 90 days. Other countries might have to pay for the training and equipment if the US doesn't approve in time (or at all).
