Hypothetically how big would Somalia’s population be if we industrialised greater somalia in the 1970s. Would it be bigger or smaller than todays figures? I estimate around 30 mil

We would have to be industrializing first its not something that happens overnight. If somalia were to start industrializing rather than pursue the ogaden war. We would probably still be growing right now, especially if the transistion from rural to urban zones is slow. I would also think the ogaden conflict would happen in the 90s.

No actually the population word group rapidly due to better nutrition and the country would need more works this would increase the family size.
