People aren't mad about deportations, people are mad about inflammatory rhetoric. You don't need to bark about how they're rapists and how you're gonna build a wall, just do what you're fucking supposed to do. Which is quietly and humanely deport them.

That's completely true. I won't deny that. But that's because Obama built up a lot of good will before squandering it all. He talked a good game when he was campaigning and the first few years of his administration. So more people were willing to give him a pass. Trump came right out the gate talkin some bullshit. So people will have a lot less patience for him.
