Lol I can definitely relate to weird cadaan manager. At my first job when I was 16 I had this manager who was weirdly obsessed with me despite me not even working in his department he would always find ways to talk to me, get in my personal space and find out about my personal life. He even tried to get me moved to his department and the only reason why I found out was because one of the supervisor I was friendly with told me. Looking back he definitely had some sort of fetish because I didn’t ever trying entertaining this man and neither did i even try putting effort into my appearance at that job.

Yeah I have had my experience with them but I think it’s more like how you carry yourself counts.And it’s literally a personality thing. imagine you wake up one morning and find Mac and cheese stuffed into every crevice and hole inside your house. Major thing is they bring them up unprovoked. That shows that there is some form of passion they have towards this group of people, and they think about them more than normal. Either deliberately or subconsciously they mask this passionate fixation by claiming that its hate. In terms of sexual attraction, the opposite of being attracted isn't hate its disgust. Disgust is more of a dispassionate aversion and so noone is going to bring that up unprovoked.
Bonus points if the major issue they have with this group of people is not about how they physically look, its just a broad stereotype about how they behave. The big one for white guys is racist, but here is another example. It's pretty obvious that there is a wide spectrum for how white dudes behave. Given that this person already formed passionate feelings about these people, and care enough to mentally catalogue how they treated them and broadcast it. When they find a white guy who is bearable and breaks whatever nonsense stereotype they formed about them they're on their knees immediately and rationalize it by claiming that they're a "special one" even though its just another regular ass white dude LOL
IMO its just what some people do when they're attracted to people they ideologically believe or were taught they shouldn't. I think this just happens to minorities less than whites because its not really socially acceptable to rant about poc's. However, I think a special brand of this weird interracial social thing also happens to people whose parents were openly anti-black, and this kind of imprinted this obsession onto their kids which can drive some of them to this weird fetish thing but for black people. Theyre not gonna talk about it in the same way bc its a bigger taboo, although they might talk about how their parents were racist unprovoked. What you do with that bit of information is up to you.
