I don’t understand abaarso hate

First of all, the system works. They take kids in from grade 7 and teach them maths English science western stuff to prepare them for degrees abroad. These people are 10x as smart as anybody back home, they’re taking the same/better degrees as diaspora, if they return they can help build a ruling class of SL.

It also helps everyone else in somalia too, there is reer PL and reer mogadishu in abaarso. These same people who attack abaarso are the same who tried to bribe them to accept their kids. Reer Mogadishu and reer PL are also taking advantage of the horrendous job market. There are lots of Turkish/Malaysian graduates with no jobs in hargeisa so they go to xamar/Garowe and they get job easily because they are educated people who will accept less money. My cousin works at Hass in Garowe he lives there full-time they paid him less than his other colleagues at first but he was jobless of course he was going to accept anything.
This gaal shit they bring up is classic example of isaaqphobia. Every other country has western boarding schools but god forbid isaaq try this. They want us to be stuck with dugsi teachers doing fractions and doing economics degrees in Egypt, whilst the best of Egypt will go do the same degree as best of abaarso in America.

This school is in the middle of nowhere as long as you don’t bring that LGTV nonsense to cities I am good. I’m not an idiot though, I can see Barwaaqo is on Sacad muse territory, Abaarso is on Sacad muse territory, they can keep lying to me about all these random kids from burco they’re bringing but we all know the truth. Me personally, wallahi if all these people are Sacad muse and they rule the country properly I wouldn’t mind. In fact I’ll become sacad muses biggest fan. Just rule properly with intelligent people no more Bixi types. Id much rather you guys than anyone else, at least you are my tribesmen.

This one homegrown guy is 10x more valuable than anything PL or Xamar can bring to the table. Ivy League studying gov policy, there is no reason a man like this shouldn’t be in power in the future, especially in todays era of brain drain globally

1.) Founder is cadaan and groomed one of his students to marry him
2.) Instead of relying on cadaans for tertiary education Somalia should cut out funding for most universities where the faculty if functionally illiterate and put all there resources into one prestigious school to train future politicans, doctors, engineers etc.
Ethiopia has done something similar and the results speak for themselves. Addis Ababa University has a global ranking of ~600 putting it in the top 4% of all international universities and is HERQA accredited

I know a few people who graduated from Abaarso. It’s mostly reer waqooyi with a few sprinklings of people from koonfur but that’s only natural. Can’t speak to the school but the people I know who have graduated from there are lovely folks who I consider to be good friends May Allah bless them.

1. I’m not excusing that whatsoever. It’s wrong but SL elites most likely knew and just accepted it. Somalia and SL particularly is fully of tactical marriages and they most likely thought that him marrying her would keep him onside for the long haul.

2. Somalia should do this but if we’re realistic it’s not happening anytime soon. The closest thing we have to this is Amoud which is still part of SL *technically*.

I’m just talking about this tactic that will surefire help us for the next 10+ years. I don’t know where Somalia will be at that point

We need to make security, infastructure and education top priority,

I dont need to go indepth as to why security is important, but education provides more chances and opportunities for child than dugsi will ever do, infastructure is a great short term benefit, as it creates jobs, improves the economy, modernises somalia,
