I would not mind a president from any Somali qabiil to be elected but I still don't think it will change anything, we need to end this qabyaalad BS nearly 30 sano after the civil war and we're lacking in ever aspect we can't feed our own people, for serious medical procedures we have to go abroad, drought, famine,flooding, death and destruction.

Corruption and security is a major problem lkn with the help of Allah iyo dhankeena oo dadaal ka mujina we can be the richest country in Africa, we can dominate other countries in agriculture,fisheries,manufacturing,mining and so many more lkn who the hell wants that (I certainly DO NOT) instead let's all focus on qabyaalad and see how far it gets us.

As much as I love my brothers and sister in Somalia, I don't think electing a president from a minor qabiil or any qabiil for that matter will change the way Somalia is at the moment lkn I will put my trust in Allah and will do my utmost best to help my people and country till my last breathe insha'Allah

The President should serve 10 years in office rather than a flimsy 4 because 4 years is a joke, half the time is spent reshuffling the cabinet and campaigning for another election. We are not at a level where the public can vote. For now it will have to be the parliament. Clan elders should not be involved in politics at all whatsofuckingever. They are peacemakers to resolve water well issues.

Somaliland did this when they elected a Samaroon, this reduced the intra Isaaq rivalry and he (Daahir Riyaale) made good progress such as extending their influence to Las Anod and the Sool region.

The National Army should be an equal proportion of each federal region. They should not be placed anywhere near civilians but rather a camp on a border town in each gobol. This will reduce any chance of a coup or a mass revolt. Border disputes are local issues, that should be resolved by local police.

I think I misunderstood your earlier post I thought you were pushing out the minorities but I get it now, making all the qabiils equal that's perfect lkn I don't think I'll agree on the 10 year presidency, we have power hungry individuals so maybe 5 or 6 years tops, also we need a committee to over see any deals being made with foreign countries/companies if it's in the benefit of the country and people, we don't want make terrible deals like giving a fishing license to China for $1m dollars do we?

As much as I would like to believe that, I don't think "a good to semi average president" would get rid of Al shaydaan, corruption, interclan fighting, shisheeye and most of all qabyaalad.

I think you fail to realise the impact of qabyaalad where the rapist, thief, muderer and all sorts of criminals go without punishment cuz they are protected by their qabiil in other words they are above the law, with a system like that it doesn't better who the president is nothing will change cuz there's no justice
