I see no way for Somalia to be a great nation before globalization takes over and the world is governed by one government.

It's been 20+ years since the collapse into a failed state, and it doesn't seem to have an ending. Man will walk on Mars before Somalia gets its shit together.



I was in a delusion to think that Somalia will rise to be a relevant country in the world, but now I've became realistic. I hope others will join me in not letting Somalia drag you down.

It isn't just the government that has this f*ck it mentality. Plenty of people in the government are decent and hard working. Somalis value curruption over everything.

They don't mind paying taxes in the west but would never willingly do so in Africa. How do they expect anything to move forward?

In its entire history, the Somali peninsula has been nothing more than a bunch of roaming nomads in a constant state of war with a bunch of other roaming nomads. What you have been seeing in Somalia for the past 20 years is merely the status quo for the past thousands of years. It is the so-called "steady state" solution.

The best hope for the Somali peninsula and the Somali people is being annexed by Kenya and Ethiopia. Somalis are inherently incapable of ruling over themselves and need a foreign element to civilize them. Look now further to validation of this hypothesis then the colonial period and the linear descent to chaos as soon as independent was declared.

i think the best solution to hellhole somalia is to, hand the whole somalia to her majesty SOMALILAND REPUBLIC! amisom and kenya will be ordered to gtfo. US and sand will be warned not to interfere without the permission of somaliland.
