Thank you so much for your advice it really made me smile and it helped me remember all the good times I've had with my family. I messed up when I didnt pick up their calls that's a lesson I learne and from now on I will always pick up their calls! But my older sister is giving me the evil eye she is even more angry at me than my mom and I did not do anything to her!

My whole body hurts I was hanging out with my friends we played pick up basketball all night my mom called me I didnt pick up my dad called me I didnt pick up and also my big sister called me and I didnt pick up. I was having fun I always stay home! I dont do anything its always school and home every day! when I come home it was really late and I was hoping everybody was a asleep. But they were waiting for me. My dad and mom were waiting sitting in the living room watching tv. They ask me where I was I say i was at my freinds house playing video games and its was true because after basketball we went and recorded reaction videos for our youtube accounts and played video games. They ask me to hand over my house keys and I refuse. My dad stands up and grabs my collar and says give me the keys! At this moment i was scared I never see my dad that angry so i try to run but my brother standing on the stairway tackles me! I fall and before I could move I was being jumped and held down! I couldn't move someone was choking me, someone holding my leg someone holding my arms! Everyone came out of their rooms. My brothers, my sisters everybody! They jump me! I didnt swing I didn't try to hit anyone except my brother because I l known i was in the wrong. Now my whole body hurts! I have bruises all over my body and mom and dad took my house keys I cant leave because now I cant sneak back in. I want to run away this is not okay

Hands down the funniest thread I have read in awhile on here ,I got jumped by my family as well, I remember three of my brothers blocked me from exit of the room while my mom beat me with a belt mercilessly and my dad enjoying the jump couples of feet away,

So yeah, it is true Somalis parents jump at you When you grow a little muscle and they think they can't handle you by the themselves so they use your siblings on you.

Parents need to understand that they do not OWN their children. They are a gift, an amanah from Allah. I'm tired of hearing story after story of parents fighting their children. They WILL be questioned on the DOJ and they need to stop before their children severe ties to them permanently.
