Not only Hawiye brother we are descendants of Martiile Hiraab. Based upon every Loobage who tested on ancestry.com, 23andme and y-full shows that we Loobage are very very closely related to Mudulood Abgaal and Madarkicis before any other Somalis.

So... I got my results, any of the haplogroup experts feel free to help me break it down. It turns out my half brother (aabo's side) did the DNA test too way before so I know my paternal haplogroup too

Maternal haplogroup: m1a5 (murusade FULL Sabti)

Paternal haplogroup: J-CTS5368 (Sexawle Karanle)

Now I'm confused, because I've never come across this Y haplogroup and it seems to link back to middle east. However I have NO middle eastern DNA. I'm 99.6% east african.

I am 13.9% Ethiopian because my paternal great grandma was full Ethiopian).

I found 463 relatives most being my 3rd cousins

I though the awqtutub was different but I know the shekhaal in general are a confederation of sheikhs and muftis.

Sheekhaal isn't a confederations,there's over a dozen sheekhaal clans and they didn't live with eachother together plus if you went back 100 years ago many of them wouldn't know of the other clans

I cant lie. Everyone thinks I look Harari - i always get told I look more them than Somali (though we do lookalike ofcourse). Either them or the dark skinned Yemenis.

Features wise my fathers side have a distinctive look ethio look big eyes etc. but I always just though it was due to my ethio- great grandma

Sister am not mocking no lineage just u knoe majority of hawiye tested ev32 since majority of madhiban/tumaal got J1-m267 that’s why I say assimilate madhiban/Tumaal and their is nothing wrong with madhiban/tumaal they are somali us anyone… no qabil better than other qabil we are all equal in the eyes off allah….
