Put in the bank and accrue interest ( few hundred a month ) and then begin acquiring some professional help to invest in safe stocks(the ones which are so tied to the ecobomy and will always be bailed out)

After that you should find a buisness to go into that you have expertise in. Grow the buisness with strict planning and grow your wealth.

Dont spend a dime in somalia.

Interest???????!!!!

It shouldn't even have to be mentioned that interest is haraam, it should go without saying. Interest is a super serious sin.

"Praise be to Allaah.

Riba is forbidden according to the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and definitive scholarly consensus. Whoever regards it as permissible is a kaafir, because the basic principle is that whoever rejects something on which there is obvious scholarly consensus is guilty of kufr.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

The belief that the well-known obligations are obligatory and that the well-known prohibitions are forbidden is one of the most important basic principles of faith, and the one who rejects that is a kaafir according to scholarly consensus.

Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 12/497."

It used to be $5k to $10k before 2014 and now it is $15k to even $20k per hectare but then again it depends on the location. The more your closer to the river the more expensive it is
$5k to $10k in 2014
Now $15k to $20k
:faysalwtf::ileycry:
I was expecting $2k to $4k per hectare but that's just insane specially with the way the country is at the moment.

I was also thinking about buying some farmland preferably near Muqdisho whether it be farms in shabeellaha dhexe or shabeellaha hoose insha'Allah I'll ask some family members back home and see what the prices are for a hectare of farmland.

I am also open to buy farmland in Xamar area especially Afgooye . Let me know the price and also how can one know if the land is occupied or not. That is the only problem in Xamar area because mooryaans from Central Somalia took the native land and since 2006 they have selling the land to people coming back to the country. And also the native are returning to get back their land so they have been a lot vindication cases of who the land belong to. My cousin in Somalia told me if you wanna buy land from Afgooye always buy from Galeedi, Tunni, Raxaweyn, Silcis Hawiye, Madow or other native clans but never buy land from Habargidir. The good thing is Afgooye is close to the biggest port in Somalia so you can ship your stuff to Dubai and internationally
