As usual you hold a bias which is OK. SL at best can be described as a very weak democracy. I mean these guys don't hold presidential or local elections on set time and year, it's always one extension after another.

Calm Down our brother @Garaad Awal as typical of most Somalis isn't looking to save his clan well being, yes he wants power and will take awdal and waqoyi galbeed state and he will be president and samaroon vice president.
But his also calculated notice he throwing hy,hj out who he knows only live in Burco and Erigavo town and the rest of the place is basically dhulos and warsangeli. He knows they will suffer while his balling, unfortunately it's not just him who thinks along those lines, it's a somali political mindset to throw the enemy under the bus while u ball.

This is a huge shift from SL fixed leadership to SNM other then rayale who was more a.compromise leader due to Isaaq division, other then him and even he had a security background.
I was not expecting they would allow its civilian class to govern. That is something many landers are not reporting.
Isaaqs do have a large educated class, most of siyad beaucracy was headed by them.
