Those naively begging for a post-qabil future. Not realizing that Qabil is also used for gatekeeping purposes as well which isn't entirely bad.
What most people mean by a "post-qabil future" is no more qabiliyaad. No more Somalis killing each other for dusty tuulos and other nonsense. Qabil, especially regional identity is still important but should never get in the way of nation building.

Thats only true for some Khaleeji communities and Yemenis.

This is why I thank Allah that my parents did not teach my anything about Qabil. I only found out after visiting online somali forums & after some friends randomly asked me. I’m still learning about the various sub clans, which areas they inhabit and whatnot.
I could not care less about my Qabil, I’ve always seen myself as Somali & Somali only. It’s sad seeing how much hatred consumes other Somalis when they’re obsessed about their Qabil. To me, it’s honestly worthless.
