You’ve fallen victim for the misinformation of the rightwing. Statistically, at least in the Netherlands but I think other countries are the same, refugees only make up 6% of the immigrants in the last 10 years. 94% of the immigration comes from fellow EU countries. In the Netherlands, again I think it’s the same for other EU countries, 60% of the Syrian refugees have returned back home. There’s no way in hell that refugees are so much that they’ll add 10% to the overal population.

Secondly, the policymakers intentionally place these refugees in villages where there’s not enough facilities to house those refugees. Villages have less resilience than major cities, but they never place them in Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm etc etc. It’s always very small villages where shops close at 6pm.

I kinda agree with them too especially Scandinavian countries who didn’t really contribute to colonialism and shouldn’t be burden by most of these economic refugees.
