I am nin but i use the lidl bootleg head and shoulders 2 in 1 in shower, apply a few times with brush to remove dirt from hair, If need to get rid of matting start from end. After shower dry a bit (without rubbing, rough rubbing the towel sometimes leaves residue), then afterward i use hair moisturiser this one
They have a large version but i cant find the image
Sleep with bonnet, do like basic big twist to prevent matting, every day or other day reapply moisturiser
Use brush and metal tooth comb/pick Wallaahi plastic pick is qashin never use it, it just has friction friction and eats your hair. Comb looks like these
Brush type doesn't matter but preferably softer to minimise damage. If it gets longer you dont have to wash it super often maybe once a week.
Since you wear hijab probably get one that is silk inside or like a bonnet inside so you dont kill the hair instantly. Nevermind you are rag ignore
