Somali parents aren't organised. Having a lot of children on top of that taking care of the house isn't a easy task especially if your not financially stable. We also aren't a tight knit community. I hardly see Somalis being prideful of their ethnicity let alone speak the language properly. It's sad to say but the Somali language will go extinct in the west.

Somalia who are occupied by Abyssinia don’t usually speak Amharic, I would say 100k or so do, and ALX there’s less need to speak that mulato monkey language every day.

No, it's because they're less religious than other Somalis. I don't know of a single masjid they have started and they're a big community here.
