We don't need all of us to change to fix Somalia.

The advanced countries were built by a minority and it'll be the same with Somalia.

We just need the goverment to recognize property, land rights and create laws for commercial activities.

Once a small entrepreneurial minority starts building cool stuff in Somalia their neighbors will finally get interested.

That's the solution that's the most feasible imo.

Big large populist movements or government development progrsms would just fall flat on their faces or get eaten from within due to corruption.

There is no sign of Somalis working like that in modern times, i.e taking after their neighbours. If they worked like that then they would have excelled in the west. In my opinion, the root to all of this is our mindset and culture.

Like I mentioned those non Somali neighbours are invisible to us.

We're segregated and don't mix a lot.

We wouldn't care if our neighbour was a Nobel prize winner as long as the geeljire family down a couple blocks is doing worse than us.
