There were 4 people who died from my 75 person team since the pandemic. They sent an email to tell us about it and that was that. No one cares except the couple who reply back to give sympathies. They are forgotten about the same day. 5 years in the workplace and you will lose your faith in humanity. Careers will consume a good chunk of your day but it should not define you. It's just the way you pay your bills. Make your hobbies, not career, define you if you dont want kids.
