I remember a video of this guy treating somali store owners bad in karmel on twitter months back, this poster got a point how comes somalis don't come together and build their own mall. Theres too many somalis in minnesota for them not to own a mall like this.

Somalis usually own the malls and stores back in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania)
We don’t own much real estate in the west. I assume it’s the banking system they avoid. 3/4 of my moms friend group all own homes in Nairobi that are at least 150K USD but don’t own any homes in Canada.
Arabs and Pakistanis in my area take interest loans like it was never an issue tho

Exactly a couple days back i learnt there are somalis doing business in Congo.

We are business orientated people just think about what the oday talk about in the cafes 24/7. We just need to give somalis the ability to translate our ideas into action.

I was suprised when i learned about it couple months ago, apparently from guys in the reddit post there was a proposal for somalis to get ownership of a building to rent shops from but they argued over who would take it over qabil.
