Completed my Masters in Computer Science. Hopefully I will be at a Director/VP level at a small-mid size tech firm, if not running my own. I have no plans on marriage or kids, but that might change as I get older.

I'm German. Nothing wrong with the country, but I'm not going to stay forever in a country that massacred 7 million Jews and Gypsies.
You can't trust these bastards, they might go insane again in a couple of decades from now. :siilaanyolaugh:

Germans got another century of probation to go before they can move on from what they did :pachah1:

Ya sure. Come to the country that dropped the only nukes ever used. Germany is much safer than the U.S. We are gun happy people don't forget that. Almost every white person here is armed.
Non-white too, to be fair.

My brothers own guns, my sister, anyone with a place really, even my old man owns a gun. When I get a place, I'll likely own one too. We all know how to shoot. It's part of the landscape, esp where we live. Guns r not that scary. It's a weapon above all, but all depends on the user.

It's all good but I can't imagine living in a country where everyone is armed.

Don't know how long it will take till my aunt and 2 uncles from the US get their gun licence.

My grandfather is the only one who owned guns. He was a commandos in the Somali army back in the day. I still don't know if he has his guns.

:dwill:

What would I be doing here if I wasn't.

Of course.
People owned guns back home too. :draketf:

My abti was in the armed forces back home, he knows and keeps guns too even though he lives in a big, crowded city.

But now it's like the average Somali are afraid of it's shadow, like it was the guns that were the problem. We've had a couple reactions, like it's scandalous. Or ppl in certain parts of the country associate it with crime, which is inaccurate.

Out here it's plain stupid not to have a gun. It's sorta remote. The houses are bigger and farther apart and there's wood.

I think if everyone were properly trained and armed, less crime would take place. You UKes can keep stabbing each other, anti-gun laws r not gonna work in a place like the US. Most ppl are unregistered to their guns, not to keeping guns mind u, but to the guns they own. There's no paper trail unless the previous private seller kept the bill of sale, which is uncommon. There's no way they can confiscate them. Maybe some ppl will turn them if prompted like in Austrailia where they gave ppl incentives to mass return their guns to the government, but most ppl here would not do that.

I wouldn't know if you're Somali due to the fact that I noticed non-Somalis on here before. Also I as person who lived in different states and grow up in the south, I never seen Somalis with guns, so that's why I was curious if you were Somali. Yeah, my family owned guns back home too and my dad's father was the head of Somalia's version of the FBI in his region. But, with all that, I never noticed Somalis wanting or owning guns in the U.S. Are any of your family members Republicans? Just curious lol.

It's probably true that most of us don't, but we're not the only ones, I know a few. It all depends.

My family doesn't vote lol, though we closely watch and tune in to the process. The upcoming election would be the first one where I'm eligible to vote myself, but neither my older sibs or parents have voted in anything but local elections.

Most Somalis r Republicans at heart, though we lend our voice to the Democrats, ironically. I agree with views from both ends (you can probably tell which side of the 'gun debate' I'm on), but I will never register as a Democrat or Republican as far as I know.

If you really see life in terms of decades then it will pass before you know it!

Well, if your f insist, you can call me Nameno.

Goals are planned and executed in increments of time. You should most definitely have a 5yr &10yr plan, the trick is to have smaller measurable mini-goals within the larger goal to keep urself accountable.

I want to call myself an Independant, but I'm still forming my views. I just know the two party system isn't where it's at.

Is your family Muslim? Out here in the southwest(Arizona) it is extremley conservative state. A friend of mine bought gun and he was closely monitored and even put on the no fly list. I would love to own a gun but I'd much prefer not to be spied on.

kkkk, i did this 10 years ago, and I am further than ever from my goals.

Anyways hopefully be married, living and working in Somalia, have some sort of business.

The western life anit for me. :manny:
You couldn't function like a normal, law abiding citizen in the West, so instead, you want to go back to Somalia, pull out your "isbaaro" and start your routine raping, looting and killing the weaker people living amongst you. Typical mooryaan.
