The reason I mentioned drugs was to highlight how misleading crime stats are. Twice as many Blacks are arrested for drug crimes despite Whites having similar usage and dealing rates.

Crime stats only show the people who got arrested not the number of people committing the crime.

Murderers are almost always the same race as their victim.

White people are also being killed by other White people, Hispanics are getting killed by other Hispanic people. This is backed up by years of FBI murder statistics.

That statement is making an equivalency between murders by criminals and murders by police, the people supposed to protect others from said criminals.

In the American context, the main problem with that is gun laws. Gun murders by gangs, which are made up of vulnerable socio-economically disadvantaged youth, which are predominantly blacks.

Doesn't help when there are also gun and liquor stores everywhere in the hoods.

In the UK, the Conservatives have cut police funding repeatedly to below Labour levels of funding yet you want to talk about the left-wing?

In 2019, the UK police union stated that the Tories fired over 23 THOUSAND police officers.

Since the Tories came into power in 2010, London has lost half of its officers.

Funding was always coming down, it’s also typical liberal move to work against police in public and paint them as bad guys while behind the scenes having different tune. Yet most police officers vote conservative and felt labour was undermining them. Increasing the budget means nothing if you are softer on criminals and police have to deal with the same criminals who labour was releasing or giving mickey mouse sentences. I know liberals never like accountability and always say the media brainwashed people against them. But again you wont see labour in uk for obvious reasons. Soft on criminals, open boarders and hard on law abiding hard working people. That was their mantra in nutshell. It’s a chicken and egg situation:

Do Police find more crime in Black neighbourhoods because they police it more or is there more police in Black neighbourhoods because of increased crime.

When you look at the history of policing in the United States, it is very clear. From modern policing in the US stemming from former “slave patrols” to protecting Klansmen murdering Blacks in their own suburbs.

You know the reason why the US put in civil rights and made its violations a federal crime?

Because they couldn’t trust state police to govern fairly on that.
