These same people will tell you they’re Somali, but they will always talk about their Arab side, have Arab flags, call themselves Arab in their comments. And they’ll even claim that their Arab ancestors founded Somali cities and states and that they “civilised” us.

They confuse me so much. They claim Somali but look down on us at the same time. They only claim Somali when convenient.

Sorry to say, but in my experience the vast majority of them see themselves as Arab and don’t care or like the rest of us.
