That depends on a lot of things, if they live in a homogeneous country or area, then second generation descendants of said immigrants will likely lose their ethnic culture and assimilate. if they live somewhere diverse and full of different peoples, and they are ethnically represented, then it will take a while longer. I can’t say how long since that depends on if the status quo in that area remains so or changes.
It depends on whether they are somewhat able to engage constantly with their own culture. If not I'd say 3rd generation but if so then it could go onto 4th or even 5th. More often you'll deem the merge of native culture with the new home that someone had move to.
