Narrated Wathilah bin Al-Asqa': that the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed Allah has chosen Isma'il from the children of Ibrahim, and He chose Banu Kinanah from the children of Isma'il, and He chose the Quraish from Banu Kinanah, and He chose Banu Hashim from Quraish, and He chose me from Banu Hashim." Arabs are the most noble people in lineage, the most prominent, and the best in deeds. We were the first to respond to the call of the Prophet. We are Allah’s helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will fight him forever in Allah’s Cause. Killing him is a small matter to us.

The ummayad caliph in a letter to the governor of Iraq (baghdad) said;

this shows us that Arab-Islam has institutionalised arab supremacy in the relgion.This has caused massive rifts in the non-arab muslim cultures.It has also caused the wiping out of entire cultures and tribes. We must not be part of that.

why should a fully grown man own another fully grown man It makes no sense and is dehumanising.... that shit i have argued and fought with many akhi akhi dudes about. Slavery is slavery no matter what!

It seems you cherry pick hadiths lol....

Narrated Al-Ma'rur: At Ar-Rabadha I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names." The Prophet said to me, 'O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of what he eats and dress him of what he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them.' "

Narrated Nafi: Ibn 'Umar said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'If one manumits his share of a jointly possessed slave, and can afford the price of the other shares according to the adequate price of the slave, the slave will be completely manumitted; otherwise he will be partially manumitted.' " (Aiyub, a sub-narrator is not sure whether the saying " ... otherwise he will be partially manumitted" was said by Nafi' or the Prophet.)

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that at the Battle of Hunain Allah's Messenger sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's Messenger seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:" And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (Quran 4:. 24)" (i. e. they were lawful for them when their 'Idda period came to an end).

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: I have a slave-girl who is our servant and she carries water for us and I have intercourse with her, but I do not want her to conceive. He said: Practise 'azl, if you so like, but what is decreed for her will come to her. The person stayed back (for some time) and then came and said: The girl has become pregnant, whereupon he said: I told you what was decreed for her would come to her.

Firslty, slavery has always existed, just because it doesn’t fit into your socialistic moral compass, doesn’t necessarily mean it is wrong.

Secondly, I didn’t disagree that there are hadiths this discuss slavery. I already knew this and it doesn’t effect what I wrote in my previous post. All the Hadith you wrote apart from the last one, shouldn’t be be problematic, even to the westernised liberal Muslims.

The last however, it seems many people have a problem with the fact a man can have sex with his slave woman. However, it is inevitable that the woman has sexual needs herself and asking a person to go from a normal married status to a celibate, it would be to cruel. you must point out that if the women doesn’t want to have sex then she should not be forced. Also they are allowed to practice azl because, say they don’t want children but want to satisfy their sexual desires then they can.

I’m yet to see what’s morally wrong with this, if anything these rulings were done to advantage all people.
