3 billion dollars is a lot of money, of course UK has tons of money, but there leaders get paid on a salary, and a piece of the 3 billion can change there lives forever, it's not only them that's drooling after this pie, it's kenya, and Ethiopia too, not to forget some sellout Somalis.
:drakekidding:

steal aid promised for Somalia is just absurd!

Why are you making it out as if the discussion was about some elaborate cash-grab scheme by the British for the purpose of enrichment?

The discussion is whether they want WITHHOLD the funds to stop Somali development. I was always convinced that AS is their mercenary destabalisation force, and I wouldn't be surprised if this story is true.

Because that's what OP said unless you are disputing his words

The Reasons?

This is classic British tactic done by design to sabotage the 2.8 billion New Deal Development fund for Somalia and to strong arm Farmaajo's government into signing documents that will allocate the majority of that fund towards the "security apparatus"on the agenda instead, which will of course be their own parasite consultants along with Ethiopia to fight the very terrorist they fund in the first place, a classic problem/reaction/solution double whammy scam.

The UK along with Ethiopia is apparently funding Al-Shabab/ISIS so Somalia is destablised then uses London conference to get their consultants to profit from the 2.8 billion allocated for Somalia all while simultaneously using British taxpayer money to give aid to starving Somali people. If you see nothing wrong with this ridiculous assertion then there's nothing more to discuss here.

ignore that idiot his status is enough to tell you were he stands, the 2.8 billion is only the first phase, it's not the final figure at all, a lot of the funds has been put up by the Asian countries (Japan the most), the idea came from them and the conference was held in Korea.

Their interest is to see stability in the whole of Africa so they can come in and trade, security is the greatest obstacle for them to achieve this, the Western countries mostly Anglo American don't want to see this as they can't compete with them, hence the sabotage.

There is far greater goals at play here as brother @Rorschach pointed out, the East/West battle, the West is in decline and have become parasites that just trade in useless derivatives with no hard assets or production capacity, they simply cannot compete with the Asian's, hence their saboteur.

It's a win/win, they keep the Asian's off Africa and hence from competing with them while they take the spoils as well (new deal money) to enrich themselves further. That's their plan, and you don't need to be smart to understand this at all.

That makes perfect sense because Africa is a huge untapped market for them, they'll benefit big and so will African nations. The Anglos want to suppress this but I think it's too late as Asian countries have already gotten the momentum going, if u remember back in 2015 or 2016, Obama held the first Africa-America development conference to try to sway African countries to stop Asian countries from dealing with them, but I think it failed, and he tried the TPP but Trump dumped it lol.
