Only nuclear weapons can save Iran now. They Israelis are only being held back by the US election and once it is done the strikes are coming. People think that it will just be one strike but if Iran fails to establish deterrence it will be regular strikes like in Syria and Lebanon.
Hezbollah has proved to be ineffective. They seem to have the same water pipe missiles like Hamas. They were completely compromised and have been destroyed in record time. Israel was preparing for them for decades.
The USA publicly pretends to trying to calm the situation but they see it as an opportunity to get rid of Hamas and Hezbollah then striking Iran. So they will keep offering money and intelligence where needed. Israel is used as US proxy against Iran.
If Iran doesn't get the nukes soon there will be airstrikes and assassinations in Iran. They can't match the Israelis in the air. The combined intelligence of the US and Israel will also be a factor. Countries like France and Spain are calling for weapons embargo on Israel because they see that this has shifted from an Israel Palestine issue to a US hegemony over the middle east issue.

If the wars in Gaza and Lebanon were not going well for Israel maybe Israel wouldn't be so keen to attack Iran but since Israel sees these Iranian proxies as push overs they see it as a chance to attack the head and not the body. If the war ends Netanyahu is fucked. Perceived wins against Hezbollah and Hamas are boosting his popularity so escalation is beneficial for him.
The only think that is going for Iran is there are no calls for a ground invasion against it. The US doesn't want it due to the disasters in Iraq and Afghanistan. So they know once the war is over they can simply rebuild or find new proxies. Yes they may take some material losses and some assassinations but in the end they have come out of this whole thing unharmed. If the Israelis push too hard they can just pull out the nukes.
The US wanted to withdraw from the region and use the Abraham accords to project power but accord are not strong enough to halt Iranian influence without significant support from the US. Iran is so successful in creating proxies because they target diplomatically isolated groups which have been shunned by the west like Hamas. These groups are able to maintain power in their territories through Iranian arms and support. In exchange Iran is able to control entire countries without spending a fortune.
