Are you referring to the 1953 coup? Consedering the shah remained in power for 26 years afterwards I'd say it was quite successful
Regardless of the outcome the landscape has changed. The US is willing to ride of die against Iran if it escalated to that extent due to the massive Israeli lobby
Making a coup to get rid of a communist leader, to have like you said 26 years of an ally leader in charge,to then see your ally overthrown by an Islamic autocratic regime who has neen in charge for the past 45 years and who's been an hardcore adversary for the west.

But hey at least the 1953 coup got rid of a commie :drakekidding:

They're able to create Nuclear warheads on short notice but never built any yet for many reasons.
Yea, they're scared imagine having a 2003-level invasion hanging over your head.

Iran is way different than Iraq though. Let's bfr Iraq and the fertile crescent in general, (Iraq-Levant-Egypt) are just a bunch of farmers who have been conquered by everyone in history. These people never ruled themselves for over 2,300 years. Their peak was the bronze age and the iron age with Assyrian empire before the Persians conquered the middle east creating the Acheminid empire.

Iran is a tough terrain for any invader including America. Kts not a flat land like Iraq where they basically marched in and liquidated the army so fast they didn't know what to do. The invasion of Iran will be bloody and they'll likely use a middle Eastern proxy like Some Arab countries to invade and take the losses of grinding down the Persians in the Mountain ranges.

Regardless they do think about being jumped by the American+NATO coalition. Why else would they warn their enemy before they launch an attack?

Its not impossible. Iranian troops are already in neighboring Syria. Iran will likely sent Arab Shia militias into south Leabonon and some Iranian military units to Lebanon.

There are the Iraqi Hezbollah, Imam Ali Brigade in Iraq and other Shia militias. They will likely get dragged in the Hezbollah-Israel
war. 60% of Iraq are 12er. They have a lot of man power to send into Lebanon in addition to Iranian military

What I don't understand is why can't Iran attack Israel directly. Israel bombed an Iran embassy a couple months ago. Iran did nothing.

Iran needs grow a pair. I'm starting to lose respect for them. Outside of the sectarianism issues I've always had high regard for them but their reputation is slipping :mjdontkno:
Israel decapitated Hezbullah, and used to bomb Iranian troops in Syria, killed high ranking officials in Syria, and other key figures from Iran in the last days. Iran simply either can't do that or don't want to do that.

How come all the Iran's allies are killed in Syria and Lebanon but Hamas leader who aren't in Iran are still alive???

What happened to Hamas? I haven't heard them in the news recently. Has Gaza and hamas basically been xooged into nothing and Lebanon is the next target?

Hamas political leader was killed while he was in Iran, while the military leaders who are in Gaza are still alive operating, Hezbullah and many others pro Iran high officials like Nassarllah were killed.

Iran has nuclear capabilities so I highly doubt they would be invaded. It's the same reason nobody messes with North Korea.
There close to enriching uranium to make several nuclear war heads (3-4). They need better reactors and nuclear tech from Russia. They hasn’t even gone to testing yet. So there a bit aways. Not far but it’s not like they have warheads attached to missiles ready to go.

Israelis and neo cons feel they have a small window to destroying Iran before they’re fully nuclear capable.

They've been saying that for the past 30 years
