It will be interesting to see what happens from here. Iran is not budging, despite Trump hinting at military action if no deal is reached. But I doubt Trump is insane enough to greenlight a decision that would put his Gulf state buddies at risk.
We're talking about their waters being contaminated, Qatar, for example, would run out of water in just three days. It would be an environmental catastrophe if the U.S. allowed Israel to go after Iran’s nuclear facilities right across Gulf state waters. And that’s without considering Iran’s likely retaliation, targeting their economic hubs. After that, the Gulf states would be a closed chapter.
